Who We Are

Meet Ken Robertson: Owner, Operator & Advisor

I’m Ken Robertson, and I founded Sierra Creek Ventures with a singular vision: to offer property owners and investors the level of insight typically found only among experienced owners and operators.

My approach is shaped not just by advising on transactions, but by actively evaluating, structuring, and participating in real estate opportunities.

My journey spans over 30 years in real estate, including:

Institutional Commercial Real Estate:
A 25-year career in institutional advisory, including serving as Central Region President at KBS Realty Advisors, overseeing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.

Owner & Developer Perspective:
Direct, hands-on experience owning, developing, and managing properties, providing a practical understanding of real estate from the owner’s side of the table.

MBA, Broker & Industry Veteran:
A strong foundation in finance, strategy, and market dynamics.

This background allows me to identify opportunities, structure creative solutions, and uncover investment angles that often go beyond what’s visible through traditional brokerage.

Today, that experience informs both my advisory work and my own investment and partnership activities through Sierra Creek Ventures.

Our Story

We take a thoughtful, hands-on approach to real estate—whether advising clients, structuring opportunities, or pursuing investments and partnerships directly.

We believe true alignment comes from shared experience, and we’ve built SCV to operate as both a strategic advisor and an active participant in the opportunities we pursue.

That perspective continues to guide how we identify and shape opportunities across the coastal markets we focus on today.

As a third-generation real estate professional, I was exposed to the business early—learning by observing, asking questions, and eventually getting hands-on.

The name Sierra Creek Ventures comes from fishing trips with my dad—a place where patience, observation, and hands-on problem solving shaped how I think about real estate today.

This philosophy is at the core of Sierra Creek Ventures.

Two people enjoying a sunny day outdoors near a body of water with rocky hills in the background. One is a man wearing a plaid shirt, white T-shirt, black Adidas cap, and smiling. The other is a young woman with long dark hair, wearing a light green T-shirt and smiling. She is holding a stick, and the man is playfully making bunny ears behind her head.

This is about more than a transaction;

A thoughtful approach to real estate—grounded in ownership, shaped by experience, and focused on long-term value.
